A delightful rainy morning was spent listening to Anthony Caponi by over 15 BOND women at the Caponi Art Park.

Alvera Franceschi, Tony Caponi

"Tony" spoke to us about his life in Italy, his journey to the USA, his art, and his philosophy of life. We were captivated by this delightful, handsome 90 year old artist so full of vigor and zest for living.  Tony is currently Professor Emeritus of Art at Macalester College where our own Alvera Franceschi was one of his students.

After his one-hour presentation we toured a portion of this beautiful 60-acre park that holds more than 30 of Caponi's sculptures.  It is truly a place to enjoy the beauty of nature and the power of art!!!

Pictured with one of Caponi's outdoor art pieces are Ursula Margolis, Natalie Fischman and Lorraine Diamond.
