Educational Programs

Throughout the year the BOND Program Committee organizes a series of educational experiences at Twin Cities institutions on a monthly basis or more frequently.

Programs often involve a guided visit to a museum or other cultural institution for a specific exhibit.  Each event is led by an experienced docent or an expert on a topic of current interest.  Adventures in Learning programs are generally designed for small groups (10 to 20 participants) due to limited capacity of the venue or tour leader, so the experience is more intimate than may be available to the general public.

Fees are reasonable and vary for each program.  If a particular institution charges no fee, the amount members pay to participate is contributed in full to the BOND Scholarship Fund.

A sampling of reports on past programs may be read under the Educational Programs header.

Program Committee Co-Chairs are Maraline Slovut and Judy Serrell.
